The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to issue a Solicitation for the following requirement:The Rotor Nondestructive Inspection (NDI) Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) system, located in Building 3001, Post T95 utilizes an overhead power and free conveyor system, spray booths, rinse tunnels and various other support equipment in the daily performance of fluorescent penetrant inspections of jet engine hardware. This system is over 26 years old and reflects the expected wear associated with its age.Design and construction shall include all parts, components, and features necessary to allow the system to transport engine components for NDI processing. The NDI shop will be completely shut down and available to the Contractor for renovation.The project will include the following key aspects of work. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. Sources must have valid Cage Codes and DUNs Numbers or have the ability to obtain one and must also be registered in System Award Management (SAM). Quotes will be evaluated on the basis of best value.
