The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center awarded a $268,333 firm fixed price definitive contract to Triumph Thermal Systems Inc. of Forest, Ohio for the delivery of ENGINE SYSTEM COOLING COMPONENTS, AIRCRAFT PRIME MOVING. Per the original solicitation, the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation sought competitive proposals for 13 lubricating coolers and associated engineering support services, with proposals evaluated using best value tradeoff considering both price and non-price factors. There was no set-aside designated. Triumph Thermal Systems will provide the 13 coolers and engineering services to support the cooler units within the conterminous United States under the contract, which runs from September 2020 through December 2021. Parent company Triumph Group, a major aerospace and defense supplier, will likely perform as a major subcontractor on this delivery order issued through an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract vehicle.
