The Department of the Army Materiel Command's Aviation and Missile Life Cycle Management Command awarded a $1,291,303.27 firm-fixed-price definitive contract to Raytheon Company's Land & Air Defense Systems division to provide a CIRCUIT CARD ASSEMBLY (NSN: 5998-01-677-9053, PN: 13661189-2) in support of the Patriot Advanced Capability-3 Missile Segment Enhancement program, a major defense program. This requirement was not set aside. Raytheon, a major U.S. defense contractor, will be responsible for engineering, manufacturing, and delivery services associated with the circuit card assembly. The agency initially conducted market research to identify potential sources through a pre-solicitation notice, as it lacked adequate data to purchase this part from additional sources. This contract award supports critical missile defense capabilities developed and maintained by the Army.
