The contract is firm fixed price with an ultimate completion date of February 13, 2026. The originating solicitation, posted November 29, 2024 with a January 7, 2025 proposal deadline, required the contractor to deliver a fully repaired and mission-ready dry dock, including all labor, supervision, production, testing, and quality assurance. The contractor must hold a current Agreement for Boat Repair under DFARS Subpart 217.71 and maintain SWRMC-approved quality systems. Work is performed at Naval Submarine Base Point Loma, San Diego, California. The overhaul project spanned approximately six months beginning in May 2025.
