Synopsis/Solicitation N0017817R4008 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The synopsis/solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect tough the Federal Acquisition Regulation.This requirement is strictly set-aside for valid, authenticated 8(a) enterprises..The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to procure a Custom Rackmounts (QTY 194) based on minimum specifications. See Attachment A for the minimum specifications. Please include shipping/freight cost for FOB destination Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 12. The order shall be firm fixed price. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Questions can be submitted up until 12:00 PM on Tuesday, May 30th after which no other questions will be entertained by the government.In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on registration in SAM by calling 866-606-8220, or via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov.Proposal is due 1 June 2017, no later than 3:00 p.m. EST with an anticipated award date by 1 July 2017. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to procure custom Rackmounts based upon the government's minimum specifications from a validated and authenticated 8(a) enterprise. This procurement is a follow on to an existing 8(a) acquisition; the previous 8(a) concern has since graduated from the program.All responsible 8(a) sources may submit their technical capabilities, which, if received within 7 business days of publication of this notice, shall be considered by NSWCDD.
