This is a $1,430,020.84 firm-fixed price contract awarded by the National Park Service to Cutting Edge Group, LLC, a minority-owned small business, to install power and communications infrastructure improvements on Liberty and Ellis Islands. The project consists of installing electrical and communication conduits, wires, and fiber optics, as well as providing a backup power supply, around the historic and culturally sensitive structures on both islands. This contract is part of the National Park Service's Great American Outdoors Act Multiple Award Task Order Contract vehicle, a $250 million program to fund public land infrastructure improvements, under which Cutting Edge Group has received over $2 million in task orders since 2022. The contract does not have a set-aside designation and is expected to be completed by December 10, 2010.
