The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) awarded a definitive, firm-fixed price contract to Identrust Services, LLC (doing business as Identrus LLC) for the provision of IGC MEDIUM DEVICE CERTIFICATES. The $893,104.90 contract, which does not have a set-aside designation, supports FEMA's Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS) by providing secure digital certificates to enable the dissemination of emergency alerts. Identrus, a foreign-owned for-profit organization, has previously delivered similar digital certificate solutions to other government agencies, including the Department of the Army and the Department of Homeland Security, to strengthen public key infrastructure and encrypted communications.
