This Sources Sought Synopsis is in support of Market Research being conducted by the United States Air Force to identify potential sources and if this effort can be competitive or a Small Business Set-Aside.The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 336413 which has a corresponding Size Standard of 1,000 employees. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all Small Businesses, Small Disadvantaged Businesses 8(a)s, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, Hubzone Businesses, and Women-Owned Small Businesses.The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past tee years. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. This Sources Sought is to notify companies that the U. S. Air Force is seeking sources for the repair and or overhaul of the NSN: 1420-01-366-0907 to support the B-2 weapon system. The contractor shall be capable of furnishing all required labor, material, facilities, and equipment to accomplish troubleshoot, repair/overhaul, test/inspection, teardown/reassembly, preservation and packaging, and return to the Government in a completely serviceable condition. The unit repair pricing will be established at the time of a contract award for the items of Air Force equipment listed below. Additionally, the source may be required to possess any necessary license agreements with the Original Equipment Manufacturer, (OEM) to obtain rights to all required data, including military specific modifications. Please note that the Government does not currently possess the information required to repair/overhaul this item.The contractor may be responsible for recurring and nonrecurring engineering services associated with becoming a qualified source.
