The Department of Homeland Security's United States Coast Guard awarded a $1.3 million firm fixed price contract to Platypus Marine Inc. to perform drydock repairs to the USCGC ORCAS cutter. The work will be conducted in Port Angeles, Washington and includes hull plating testing and repairs, tank cleaning, void leak testing and preservation, sea valve overhauls, and other mechanical systems work as requested in Solicitation DRY-DOCK USCGC ORCAS.
