Inverter PMI at VA Long Beach
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 -- Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR -- Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation is attached to this announcement. The Government intends to award a single Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) award from this solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Long Beach Healthcare System, has a requirement for semi-annual servicing of tee (3) PV inverters and associated major distribution components at the VA Long Beach campus. The contractor shall furnish all tools, labor, materials, and supervision necessary to execute all tasks per the Statement of Work. The services shall also be in accordance with industry standard, local, state, Federal and all other applicable laws / regulations. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238210 and the Small Business Administration s (SBA) size standard is $15 million for this procurement. This solicitation is issued as a TIERED EVALUATION INCLUDING as established in 38 U.S.C. 8127. This solicitation is issued as a TIERED EVALUATION INCLUDING SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS: This solicitation is being issued as a tiered evaluation for SDVOSB concerns, or in the alternative, a tiered evaluation for VOSB concerns, or in the alternative, a set-aside for other small business concerns with HUBZone small business concerns and 8(a) participants having priority. If award cannot be made, the solicitation will be cancelled, and the requirement resolicited. Offerors identifying as VOSB or SDVOSB must be listed in the Vendor Information Pages at www.vetbiz.gov. The purpose of this sources sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential businesses interested and capable of providing the services described below. Bldg-50 50 KVA 3-phase Satcon Inverter, Mdl # P VS-50 (interior unit), Main DC safety disconnect switch, Main AC safety disconnect switch. Bldg-150 50 KVA 3-Phase Satcon Inverter, Mdl # PVS-50 (interior unit), Main DC safety disconnect switch, Main AC safety disconnect switch.
