Institute For The Development Of Educational Advancement

Institute For The Development Of Educational Advancement is a non-profit organization and foundation registered in SAM.gov, located in Fort Scott, Kansas. The organization is structured as a corporate entity with tax-exempt status and focuses on educational support and development initiatives. While limited publicly available information exists about the organization's specific mission, its federal grant activities suggest a concentrated effort in supporting educational programs, particularly those serving migrant and mobile student populations.

The organization has consistently received federal grant sub-awards related to migrant education programs, specifically through Title I Migrant education funding. Recent sub-awards include partnerships with the Kansas State Department of Education and the New Mexico Public Education Department. In October 2023 and July 2024, the organization received Title I Migrant sub-grants from the Kansas State Department of Education, indicating ongoing involvement in supporting educational services for migrant children. Additionally, in December 2024, the organization was involved in an Interstate Migrant Education Council membership for Director Mayra Valtierrez, which was funded through federal Title I Part C consortium funding specifically designed for the education of migratory children. These grant awards demonstrate the organization's specialized work in supporting educational access and resources for mobile student populations across different state jurisdictions.
