This pre-solicitation notice is to inform that the Samuel S. Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, NY will be posting a solicitation (VA528-14-B-0151) on or about March 14, 2014 to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary for the Renovate Rooms 291-294 for Angiograph Radiology Equipment project 528A8-13-819. The work under this project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, devices, and materials and performing all work required to will renovate approximately 1,480 square feet of existing patient waiting spaces located on the second floor of Building 1. For this project, these spaces will be renovated to provide a new radiology equipment area (Angiograph Suite), Rooms 291-294 and relocate the Ambulatory Waiting Area to Rooms D241 and 240 at the Stratton VA Medical Center in accordance with these technical specifications and applicable drawings. The work includes, but is not limited to, removal of walls, ceilings, flooring and modifications and additions to existing construction, mechanical HVAC, plumbing and electrical building utility systems.

This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 236220. The small business standard is $33.5 Million. The cost range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Information regarding the scheduled site visit will be stated in the Solicitation. Bid, performance and payment bonding will be required to respond to this solicitation once released.
