This is a Sources Sought Notice and is for information purposes only. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS, OR BIDS. NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. A Market Survey is being conducted to determine if there are adequate Small Businesses, HUBZone, 8(a), or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business contractors for the following proposed contract. Contract will consist of new work dredging within the Delaware River main navigation channel and placement of the dredged material on Broadkill Beach, Delaware, for nourishment of the existing beach and dune system; (a) Dredging work shall include dredging of the Miah Maull and Brandywine Ranges of the Delaware River main channel from Station 432+200 to Station 512+000; (b) Dredging shall be required to a depth of 45 feet MLLW plus 1-foot allowable over depth within the contract work limits; (c) The side slope dredging requirements for this project are 3H to 1V within the dredging contract work limits; (d) The beachfill work shall include the placement of approximately 1,900,000 cubic yards of dredged material covering a total of approximately 15,000 linear feet of beach; e) All material for the beachfill work shall be obtained from the Delaware River main channel; (f) Award of this contract is subject to the availability of funds. All work and services under this project shall be completed no later than 15 April 2016. Estimated cost range of the project is $25,000,000.00 to $100,000,000.00. The NAICS Code for this project is 237990 with a size standard of $25.5 mil. Responses to this sources sought announcement will be used by the government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. All interested Small Business, HUBZone, 8(a), or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business contractors should submit a narrative demonstrating their Specialized Experience in similar type contracts, Past Performance, Key Personnel. Capability statements should include size/classification of your firm, details of similar projects, completion dates, references and contract amount. Narratives shall be no longer than FIVE (5) pages.
