THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time.  This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government.  The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for vocational training provider services - Warehouse Distribution Occupational Education Program for the inmates at the Federal Prison Camp located in Waymart, PA.  The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 611519 (Size Standard:  $14.0 million).  All duties shall be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the industry and compliance with all Federal and State policy and regulations.  The occupational education program must fall under the provider's umbrella of accreditation and lead to transferable credits resulting in a college certificate.  It is estimated that the contractor will provide 960 hours of instruction per year.   The service will normally be performed between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Government contemplates awarding of an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contracts with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the future solicitation. The contract period shall consist of a 12 month base period with four 12 month option periods for renewal. A Government solicitation document to provide these services may be developed, and a contract may or may not result. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site, www.fbo.gov,  to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information regarding this notice. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
