This notice is for informational purposes only. The 23d Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole source purchase order to Spectro Incorporated for the service of Spectrometers (model numbers M and MN) used for aircraft oil analysis. USAF Maintenance Units utilize Spectrometers for the oil analysis of all aircraft in accordance with Technical Order (T.O.) 1A-10C-6WC-5 CARD 1-002 and T.O. 33-1-37-3. Furthermore, T.O. 33B4-2-29-1 and T.O. 33B4-2-29-11 specify Spectro Incorporated as the source to complete repair or service on Spectrometers M and MN in the respective maintenance flow charts. The justification for restricting competition is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 6.302-1 (Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements). A post-award notice will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) identifying the 23d Contracting Squadron's Justification and Approval of this sole source procurement to Spectro Incorporated.
