MARKET RESEARCH/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS. The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville is conducting a market survey to determine the availability of vendors capable of providing all personnel, equipment and transportation required to provide linen rental and laundry services of Contractor-Furnished Property (CFP) and laundry services for Government-Owned Property, as identified herein, for the below facilities. The Contractor shall pick-up, account for and deliver such linen to the facilities identified below, according to the specifications required. Naval Health Clinic Charleston, 110 NNPTC CIRCLE, Bldg 2418, Goose Creek, SC 29445 Naval Health Clinic Charleston Dental Clinic, 110 NNPTC CIRCLE, Bldg 2417, Goose Creek, SC 29445 The anticipated period(s) will span five (5) years consisting of a one (1) year base period and four (4) twelve month option periods beginning 01 October 2013. A firm fixed price requirements contract is anticipated. It is anticipated that the Request for Proposal will be issued in the mid April 2013 time frame. Interested vendors are requested to submit a capability statement outlining their ability to meet or exceed this potential requirement no later than 4:00 pm (Eastern Standard Time), 26 March 2013, stating their business size, as well as a point of contact. The government will use the results of this announcement to determine whether the acquisition of the above described requirement should be solicited as a small business set-aside, or whether full and open competitive procedures should be utilized. The Government will not pay or provide reimbursement for any costs incurred in the preparation or delivery of the request for information.
