THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W9115109R0007.

The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, personnel, supplies, materiel, equipment and any other services not government furnished necessary to perform the Grounds Maintenance Service to support the Directorate of Public Works, Maintenance Division at Fort Hood, TX. The Contractor shall perform all work in compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations.

The period of performance will be for a base year plus four one-year options. Base Period: 1 Nov 2009 to 31 Oct 2010, 1st Option Period: 1 Nov 2010 to 31 Oct 2011, 2nd Option Period: 1 Nov 2011 to 31 Oct 2012; 3rd Option Period: 1 Nov 2012 to 31 Oct 2013; and 4th Option Period: 1 Nov 2013 to 31 Oct 2014. The applicable codes for this requirement are: NAICS 561730 with a Small Business size standard of $7 M. This acquisition will be issued as a 100% HUB-Zone set-aside.

Request for Proposal (RFP) W91151-09-R-0007 is tentatively schedule to be issued on or about 30 July 2009 with a closing date of 30 August 2009. The Grounds Maintenance Service, to include but not limited to: mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, pruning, cleanup and waste removal. The Grounds Maintenance service also includes environmental impact awareness and compliance. The Contractor shall prepare and maintain reports and schedules for Government approval.

The solicitation is anticipated to be issued on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website at http://acquisition.army.mil. Once the solicitation is posted, it is the responsibility of potential bidders to review this site frequently for any notification of changes or amendments to the solicitation documents.
