This Sources Sought is for planning purposes only and is a market research tool to determine availability and adequacy of potential business sources for Maintain and Repair Roofing IDIQ Contract at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. The Government is under no obligation to pay for information submitted in response to this Sources Sought. All the information submitted will be considered and treated as public information. The vendor should not include any pricing or proprietary information. This is not a Request for Proposal or Quote; therefore, responses to this notice shall not be accepted as offers and the Government is not required to issue a solicitation. Businesses responding to this Sources Sought Notice must provide a Statement of Capabilities. Statements should address the requirements for roofing stated in the DRAFT Scope of Work attached to this announcement and identify the skills, experience, knowledge, and capabilities to complete maintenance, repair, and inspection services for Roofing. Relevant performance includes performance of efforts involving sub-arctic conditions experience in new roofing work with similar size and types of roof contracts with continuous multiyear performance periods to include, but not limited to: removal of existing built-up roof system, asbestos removal, new 4 ply modified built-up roof system, new fluid-applied elastomeric roof system, new metal roof panels, new 2 ply with flood coat, and others. The magnitude of this contract is $10,000,000.00 to $25,000,000.00. We anticipate awarding a Basic year contract with four option years. NAICS Code considered for this requirement 238160.
