 The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has a requirement to renew wireless telephone services for a period of seven months which will support the existing service contracts for wireless phone and data services to the Human Resources Solutions (HRS) office.  The estimated subscription period is date of award  - 09/30/2013. OPM intends to issue a non-competitive award that will result in a purchase order to Sprint for a period of seven months. This requirement is conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Commercial Items. The authority for this award is FAR 13.106(b), soliciting from a single source; Purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. All parties interested in this procurement must submit a capability statement within three (3) calendar days from the date of this notice. Submissions after that date will not be considered. No solicitation will be issued, therefore, any requests for the solicitation will not be considered. Interested parties wishing to submit their questions, interest, and capabilities must do so in writing via e-mail. Oral and facsimile requests for information will not be considered. Verification of receipt of electronic transmission is the sole responsibility of the contractor. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received is at the sole discretion of the Government. Contractor registration in System for Award Management (SAM) is required prior to execution of award.
