This contract is for the demolition, removal, and installation of the Lower Frey Bridge on the Feather Falls Trail. Work includes, but is not limited to, removal of the damaged bridge, transportation & installation of the new bridge utilizing government-furnished materials (such as treated wood), and furnishing & installation of new railing.
The Government's estimate is between $25,000 to $100,000
The project is located on the Feather River Ranger District of the Plumas National Forest. The site is located approximately one mile from the Feather Falls Trailhead on the lower trail. The trailhead is located at the end of the Bryant Ravine Road / FS 21N35Y adjacent to the Feather Falls Campground. Travel east from Oroville, CA, on SR 162 to the Forbestown Road then proceed north on the Lumpkin Road to Feather Falls.
The request for quotes package will be uploaded when ready, approximately March 5, 2014. The date of award is expected to be within 21 days after the actual response date, which will be stated in the package and possibly changed in one or more amendments.
