The Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers in Artesia New Mexico is seeking sources that can provide equipment used in Water Survival training, specifically a "Jacob's ladder" a flexible ladder that is suspended from the ceiling similar to ladders made for helicopters. This is not a request for quotes; it is a request for information only.
1. The ladder should be of Non fibrous construction - a flexible metal or chain that resists rust 2. The entire ladder, including rungs, needs to sustain a minimum of 350 pounds in body weight 3. Minimum of thirty-five (35) feet in length 4. Double connection mounting points with installation hardware for ceiling mounting 5. Non-slip rungs about 2-3 inches thick with grips to prevent slippage through the rungs, and will not erode or crack from the chlorine in the water.
