The National Park Service (NPS) will issue a prospectus for solicitation of offers for a 10 year Concession Contract to provide Ferry Service between the Mississippi Gulf Coast and West Ship Island, along with Island Food and Beverage, Limited Merchandise, and Equipment Rental Services on West Ship Island within Gulf Islands National Seashore.


Concession Overview


Under the Draft Contract, the Concessioner will provide ferry services between the Mississippi Gulf Coast and West Ship Island, along with food and beverage, limited merchandise, and equipment rental on West Ship Island. The Mississippi Gulf Coast consists of Gulfport, Biloxi, and Long Beach, Mississippi. The Concessioner will be responsible for securing a dock at one of these locations to use as a departure site to accommodate the two required vessels.


All offers must be received by the NPS at the address listed on the inside front cover of the prospectus no later than 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, in order to be evaluated and considered for an award of a concession contract. The prospectus describes the business opportunity and includes the terms and conditions under which the NPS will award the concession contract.
