The Army Contracting Command - Redstone Arsenal (ACC-RSA) under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302-1 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, this announcement constitutes the only solicitation; any offers will be considered; however, it is the Government's intent to award based on lowest price technically acceptable. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or service will satisfy agency requirements.

This procurement is for Brand-Name purchase of MATLAB software renewal on existing licenses. This is a brand name specific requirement. MATLAB is a numerical computing environment and fourth-generation programming language. Developed by MathWorks, MATLAB allows matrix manipulations, plotting of functions and data, implementation of algorithms, creation of user interfaces, and interfacing with programs written in other languages, including C, C++, Java, and Fortran. MATLAB is used by the Aviation Engineering Directorate for numerical and statistical analysis in direct support of Army rotorcraft and fixed wing platforms. Delivery must be no later than 10 March 2014 in order to meet the Army requirements. No other brands will be accepted IAW (FAR) 3.302-1(c)(1). Please see the attached Documents further information.
