NOTICE OF CONTRACT ACTION (NOCA) This is a notice of intent from CECT-NWP-S, USACE Portland District, Oregon to award a sole source purchase order to CB-Pacific as the representative of GE Intelligent Platforms, Inc. for the annual software maintenance support and version upgrades of GE Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition control system (SCADA). Used for real time database for processing and alarming, user interface and I/O drivers' functionality, retrieved data form Field Remote Devices (FRD), options for Remote Terminal Units (RTU) with the capability to customize user interface to meet the Government needs. GE Intelligent Platforms, Inc. is the sole provider of their proprietary rights to the software in accordance with statutory authority, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(i). The Period of performance shall be 31 March 2013 to 30 March 2014. This purchase will be made under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR 13.501(a)(2). All information received will be considered solely for informational purposes. This announcement constitutes a notice of intent for a contract action, not a solicitation. The Government's determination not to compete this proposed contract action is based on market research previously conducted.
