The Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center (JCMVAMC) intends to negotiate and award a noncompetitive basis to Pentax of America, Inc for purchase of Digital Video Swallowing Workstation, including hardware and software for fluoroscopy and digital recording. This work station is used to assist with every aspect of dysphagia management. The workstation allows flexibility for data acquisition, analysis, time-linked physiologic and video data and ability to export quantitative information into other analysis software. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy the minimum agency requirements. The NAICS code is 334510. To date our market research indicates Pentax of America is the only company we are aware of who can provide this type of service.
