The Government intends to procure on a sole source basis a quantity of twenty (20) Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) 30 Amp input current with RS232 Interface, Hot Swappable Battery Pack, Environmentally Qualified manufactured by MilPower Source.
MilPower Source UPS M359-1-0-0-1-1 is the specific make and model that will satisfy the Government’s minimum requirements with regard to meeting environmental qualification testing requirements while meeting form, fit and function requirements within the ANIUSQ-T46D rack. The basis for the sole source is that the Milpower Source UPS was used in the AN/USQ-T46D Battle Force Tactical Training (BFTT) system which were tested extensively and qualified as part of the approved BFTT Electronic Change Proposal (ECP) 413 by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, IN, as the BFTT Acquisition Engineering Agent (AEA).

This is a pre-solicitation notice for N00178-11-R-10383 which is anticipated to open on 7 March 2011. The NAICS code is 335311 with a size standard of 750 employees. The government reserves the right to award on all or none basis or to make partial awards to fulfill the needs of the government. The award shall be firm fixed price. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency.
