DLA Land at Aberdeen anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about March 28, 2014, for a five (5) year, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) type of contract with an estimated maximum contract value of $99,022,550.00. The proposed action is for the acquisition of the MX-11769 (NSN: 5855-01-504-4590) and the MX-10130D (NSN: 5855-01-504-4589) Image Intensifier Tubes. The image intensifier tubes are used in conjunction with the following Night-Vision devices: AN/PVS -14, Monocular Night Vision Device and AN/PVS-7B/D Night Vision Goggles. The Government possesses a complete technical data package, including a specification and detailed drawings, for the image intensifier tubes. Due to the sensitive nature of these items, contractors must demonstrate to the government the ability to acquire or manufacture MX-10130D and MX-11769 prior to the technical data package being provided. The contract will have a guaranteed minimum of $25,000. FAR Part 15 will apply to this acquisition.
