Training Areas 23,24 and 28 supports several invasive plant species including Privet (Ligustrum sinense), Phragmities (Phragmities australis), Autumn Olive (Elaeagnus umbellate), Royal Pawlownia (Paulownia tomentosa), Ailanthus (Ailanthus altissima), Japanese stlit grass (Microstegium vimineum), Beefsteak Plant (Perilla frutencens), Kudzu (Puearia montana), Mimosa (Albizia julibrissin), and Periwinkle (Vinca minor). In order to minimize expansion of invasive plant species in the training areas.
