One of the fastest-growing small business groups is Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB/SDVOSB) and there are a number of incentives for military veterans to get into federal contracting game. This includes government-sponsored programs designed to assist veterans in starting a business, as well as set-aside categories specifically intended to favor VOSB and SDVOSB. However, getting started - both as an entrepreneur and a government contractor - remains challenging and complex.

In our May 3 webinar, on Veteran-Owned Businesses in GovCon we chatted with Emily McMahan and Seda Goff from Bunker Labs about transitioning to the private sector, military veteran entrepreneurship, and set-aside contracting for veteran-owned businesses in the federal space.
