Federal government contract opportunity data, what we call "Projects" on GovTribe, comes from FBO.gov. We mine it every 15 minutes, clean it up, connect it to the other data we have, and post it almost instantly.

Much of our Vendor information comes from the System for Award Management (SAM.gov), which is where companies who pursue government contracts are required to register their business information. We update vendor registration data monthly using the Public Data Package file provided by SAM.gov per the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).

Contract obligation data (what you see on our "Contract" pages) comes from FPDS.gov. We mine this data every 24 hours, which is the same frequency with which the government updates the FPDS database.

We also mine the GAO's protest docket and use several agency-specific sources and public APIs to add additional content to all of our entities.
