About this opportunity

The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute intends to award a sole source contract to Washington University to provide Williams Syndrome Clinic Support. The contract would fund one part-time nurse practitioner, genetic counselor, and nurse coordinator at the university's Williams Syndrome Clinic from September 2022 through August 2027. The contract would also provide funds for research-related expenses such as phlebotomy fees and patient surveys to enhance ongoing translational research of Williams Syndrome. Responses to the notice were due by August 29, 2022 and should include pricing, delivery, and company information.

There is no set-aside designation for this procurement. The contract would provide base period funding from September 2022 through August 2023, with four one-year option periods to extend through August 2027. The sole source justification is to continue support for staff at the established Williams Syndrome Clinic and ongoing research at its current location. No award value was specified, but the contract is expected to fund three part-time clinical support staff positions over a five-year base period and potential four additional option years.
