Added: Oct 21, 2016 2:46 pm Hurlburt Field AFB, FL, intends to make a single award for WET CHEMICAL MAINTANENCE with a period of performance one (1) year after contract award; with four option years. Work consists of, but is not limited to, providing all personnel, management, tools, supplies, labor and supervision necessary to perform maintenance and services on wet chemical fire suppression systems IAW the Statement of Work (SOW).

This acquisition is being set aside 100% for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 811310 with a size standard of $7.5M. The Contracting Officer anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price type contract.


The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest proposed price.


The issuance date for this solicitation is projected to be on/about 21 October 2016. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items (Apr 2016) applies to this Request for Proposal and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal or indicate (with DUNS Number) that current information is available on the federal government website System for Award Management (SAM) https://www.sam.gov. Prospective contractors must be registered in SAM prior to award of a government contract. Additionally, the offeror shall comply with the DFARS clause at 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests and Receiving Reports (Jun 2012).
