About this opportunity

This notice seeks proposals to upgrade 17 WC-130J Stepped Frequency Microwave Radiometer Data Processor Units for the United States Air Force Reserve Command. The Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center at Robins Air Force Base will send the units to the contractor in lots of three to four to have the new hardware, software, and operating system installed. Proposals must explain how the offeror would overcome any data limitations, as the agency anticipates a sole source award to ProSensing, Inc. due to its ownership of data rights. Interested parties should submit proposals to Jill Thornton by September 28, 2020 for evaluation.

There is no set-aside designation. The work involves upgrading aircraft electronic equipment under PSC code 7050 and NAICS code 334220. ProSensing is the expected sole source awardee as the current contractor due to its control of necessary data. The agency will send 17 units for upgrade and return to Keesler Air Force Base.
