This Special Notice was published by the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 1. The Notice communicates the agency's intent to sole source a contract extension to Mobile Medical International, Corp. for continued lease of a mobile sterile processing system trailer at the Northampton VA Medical Center in Massachusetts.
The purpose of the Notice is to extend the current lease of the mobile sterile processing trailer already onsite for 12 months through two six-month option periods. The trailer is needed to ensure instruments continue to be sterilized in accordance with VA regulations during an unexpected construction delay that has left the Northampton VA Medical Center's sterile processing department shut down. Interested parties must respond with relevant documentation by May 10, 2023 to be considered for the sole source award, which is reserved for the existing contractor due to the urgent need and their current provision of the required mobile trailer already onsite. The North American Industry Classification System code for this requirement is 532120.
