Added: Dec 20, 2016 3:09 pm   Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport has a requirement for 6-Pin Vertical Launch System (VLS) Missile Tube Control Cable (MTCC) Connectors, 7-Pin VLS MTCC Connectors, and 30-Pin VLS MTCC Connectors. These connectors will be manufactured in accordance with drawings provided by the Government. The requirement includes a quantity of 75 each for the 6-Pin, 450 each for the 7-Pin, and 250 each for the 30-Pin VLS MTCC Connectors.

Offerors will be evaluated on the basis of lowest price, technically, and past performance acceptable to the Government; that is, selection of the contractor is to be based on the establishment of minimum requirements to be evaluated on an "acceptable" or "unacceptable" basis. This requirement is issued in accordance with FAR parts 12 and 13.5, and is being issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the attached solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The solicitation issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) is N00253-17-T-0037 and is attached to this announcement. Provisions and clauses in effect through the latest Federal Acquisition Circulars are included in the attached solicitation. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be a firm-fixed price (FFP) supply type contract. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334417, with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. The procurement will be solicited as unrestricted full and open competition.


Offerors wishing to submit a proposal are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from www.fbo.gov and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the solicitation. A bidders list will not be maintained by this office, no telephone or fax requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. Failure to respond to the electronically posted solicitation and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render the vendor's offer non-responsive and result in rejection. Any questions must be submitted in writing via e-mail to the government point of contact listed on the solicitation.
