NASA/NSSC has a requirement for classroom and flight training of 1 student, 2 students, or 3 students, in the study of aircraft longitudinal, lateral, and direction stability and control and handling qualities with a contractor provided aircraft capable of demonstrating aircraft dynamic principles such as static and dynamic stability, short period, phugoid and spiral mode, effects of control input delays and control filtering.
The Estimated Period of Performance is the date of issuance until delivery need date of 3/30/2019.
NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort. Performance will be located at NASA/ Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC).
Quotes for the item(s) described in the RFQ are due by 9/19/2018 by 1:00 p.m. CT in order to be considered for award. If it is in the best interest of the Government, quotes submitted after the due date may be accepted. Quotes shall remain valid for 30 days unless otherwise expressly stated on the quote. Submitted Quotes shall list two points of contacts including name, phone number, and email address.
All contractual and technical questions must be in writing (e-mail) to no later than 9/18/2018 by 4:00 p.m. CT. Telephone questions shall not be accepted.
The NAICS Code for this procurement is 541715.
This procurement is set aside for small business.
Offeror's shall be registered at www.sam.gov in order to be considered for award.
Delivery is FOB Destination.
Payment Terms Net 30 required.
