This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE - The Minneapolis VA Healthcare System (MVAHCS) requires contractual services to provide Interventional Radiology services to eligible beneficiaries of the MVAHCS. Interventional Radiology services will include Performing and interpreting diagnostic and therapeutic angiographic and vascular procedures on inpatients and outpatients. They will provide consultative services as well as on-call coverage. Services shall be provided onsite for the Imaging Service Line at the Minneapolis VA Healthcare System.
The Contractor shall provide Board Certified Interventional Radiology Physicians Service on site in accordance with the specifications contained herein to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Minneapolis Veterans Affairs Health care System (MVAHCS). The VA Radiology Services are accredited by ACR and follow the standards & guidelines set forth by American College of Radiology (ACR). A contractor providing onsite interventional radiologist services shall provide services that meet or exceed the American College of Radiology Guidelines. The solicitation will contain requirements for a 12-month base year and no option periods. During the base period, the contractor will be expected to provide 1.5 Full Time Employee Equivalent/3,120 hours of clinical service with approximately 6,476 hours of corresponding on-call coverage.
The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 621111 with a size standard of $11 million. The solicitation is full and open and multiple awards will not be considered. Offers will be evaluated on technical ability, past performance, and price. Services are scheduled to begin on May 1, 2015 (or date of award).
The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about February 9, 2015 and will be issued via FedBizOpps Electronic Posting System at http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
