This is a special notice provided for informational purposes only, prepared in accordance with FAR 5.2- Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) Joint Administrative Operations, Acquisition and Property Operations, Goods and Services Operations located at 911 NE 11th Ave. Portland, OR 97232 has issued an emergency single source solicitation in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) to Air Treatment Corporation The work includes emergency replacement of two failed Ozone Chillers located at Coleman National Fish Hatchery. The ozone is used to disinfect the incoming water that is used to rear 14 million chinook salmon and steelhead trout. If the ozone system cannot operate efficiently and properly, then the 14 million fish could become exposed to fish health pathogen which would jeopardize the mission critical work from be performed successfully. The replacement must be completed urgently in order to avoid shutdown of the water chiller system, which has already shut down once. This notice is not a request for proposal/quote or invitation for bid. A solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with this notice of intent. Any vendor that believes it can provide the proposed services can provide supporting documents demonstrating capability for future reference. The Government is not responsible for any costs incurred in response to this notice.
