The Department of Veteran s Affairs (NCO 21) intends to award a requirement noncompetitively to Champion Medical Technologies, Inc. IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).
Due to FDA requirements, Joint Commission Compliance and VHA requirements, all medical facilities are required to track implantable items/devices (biological and non-biological).
Champion Medical Technologies will provide the VA Northern California Health Care System, which include the Sacramento, Martinez, McClelland, Mare Island and the Redding VA s sites, UDI Implant Tracking Systems which include:
5 Each Champion Medical Technologies UDI Tracker Premium Licenses
1 Each VISTA Interface Maintenance
5 Each UDI Tracker Premium Implementation
1 VISTA Interface Implementation
15 Each Barcode Scanners
The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541511 Computer Software Programming, and the Small Business Administration size standard for this NAICS is $27.5 Million.
This notice of intent is not a formal solicitation, request for competitive proposals or request for quote. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. No award will be made on the basis of quotations or offers received in response to this notice.
The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement for future requirements. A determination by the government not to compete this action is based on this notice and solely within the discretion of the government. The justification for other than full and open is included in this notice as required by FAR 6.305(a).
However, interested parties may submit their interest and capability statement no later than March 1, 2019 at 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). Any responses submitted shall reference notice number 36C26119Q0373 and include the firm s capability statement, the firm's Dun and Bradstreet Number, and the firm's business size (i.e. small business, other than small business, etc.) in accordance with the size standard for NAICS Code 541511 Computer Software Programming, and the Small Business Administration size standard for this NAICS is $27.5 Million.
