The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) has awarded contract N0042120D0010 that resulted from the Solicitation N0042119R0012 to Airbus Helicopters, Inc. (DUNS: 134160873 / CAGE: 3GSZ1) of Grand Prairie, Texas 75052. Airbus Helicopters, Inc. will provide Performance-Based Logistics (PBL) support services and sustaining engineering required to support five (5) U.S. Navy (USN) UH-72A helicopters owned by the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School (USNTPS) located at Patuxent River, Maryland.

This effort was issued as a sole source to Airbus Helicopters, Inc. under NAICS Code 488190 (Other Support Activities for Air Transportation) as well as the Product Service Code (PSC) J015 (Maintenance and Repair of Aircraft), which resulted in the placement of a Single Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a five (5) year ordering period. The contract will consist of firm-fixed price (FFP) CLINs for Material and Maintenance Support Services and Engineering Support Services.

This IDIQ contract will permit specific task orders to be issued based on the general tasking outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

The Government has determined that Airbus Helicopters, Inc. will provide the best value to the Government and Airbus Helicopters, Inc.’s proposed price has been determined to be fair and reasonable.
