About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Materiel Command Contracting Command Orlando Contracting Center has issued a Special Notice for the Training and Readiness Accelerator II (TReX II) Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) Request for Solutions (RFS). The notice specifically targets two Cyberspace Test Technology (CTT) prototype projects focused on cyber-physical systems vulnerability assessment and continuous integration/continuous development platform security testing tools. Advanced Technology International (ATI) is managing the solicitation on behalf of the Test Resource Management Center (TRMC). The opportunity is classified under the Research and Development in Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences NAICS category. The special notice was published on February 18, 2025, with a response deadline of March 24, 2025.
The primary objective of the TReX II program is to accelerate innovative prototype development that enhances military personnel readiness through modeling, simulation, experimental validation, and mission-focused projects. Contractors must be members of the TReX II consortium to respond to the solicitation, with non-members able to apply for membership by contacting TReXII@ati.org. Successful prototype projects may potentially result in follow-on production contracts without additional competitive procedures, as permitted under 10 U.S.C. 4022(f). The two specific prototype projects seek to develop advanced tools for assessing vulnerabilities in cyber-physical systems and testing security in continuous integration/continuous development platforms. Interested parties are directed to https://www.trexii.org/ for detailed information about the Request for Solutions. The program aims to develop prototypes directly relevant to improving military platform effectiveness and supporting Department of Defense technological capabilities.
