Solicitation Notice:
The National Park Service, Midwest Region, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, is issuing a solicitation for a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Trail Repair project at Hopewell Culture National Historic Park in Chillicothe, OH.
Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary to:
- Placement of Topsoil along dirt trail to fill in eroded areas of dirt trail.
- Placement of Natural colored mulch over 2000 feet of dirt trail.
- Placement of Limestone screenings over 5200 feet of trail.
SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6419R0038.
PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $25,000 and $100,000.
TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract
EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Past Performance, and Price.
North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 237990, and the size standard is $36.5 million. This project is set aside 100% for Small Businesses.

Pre-Solicitation Notice:
The National Park Service, Midwest Region, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Trail Repair project for the Hopewell Culture National Historic Park in Chillicothe, OH.
Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary to:
- Installation of 16 6in by 6in by 8 ft. composite water bars.
- Placement of Natural colored mulch over 2000 feet of dirt trail.
- Placement of Limestone screenings over 1500 feet of trail.
- Installation of an above ground 26 foot wooden walkway over a small washout.
SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P6419R0038.
PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $25,000 and $100,000.
TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by August 2019 with performance to begin in August 2019. Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Ross County, OH will apply.
EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Past Performance, and Price.

SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance.
PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation (RFP) and its attachments will be issued and available July 2019 and will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov and FedConnect, website at https://www.fedconnect.net.
The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation.
