About this opportunity

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Walla Walla District published a Special Notice to inform industry of its intent to solicit and negotiate solely with RSMeans for the purchase of updated 2021/22 cost pricing data and licenses for their cost book.

The Special Notice seeks to have RSMeans, as the previous incumbent, update labor, material, and equipment cost data from its commercial library formatted for the district's use in an updated 2021/22 cost book. Interested parties were able to identify their capabilities by July 23rd to be considered for providing the cost data update. However, the district has determined it will not competitively procure this requirement pursuant to authority that allows for sole source awards when only one responsible source is available. The updated cost book deliverable will be used to derive construction task prices from cost elements including crew compositions and material costs.
