This is advance notice that the Government intends to award four new task orders for touch labor off of the IDIQ multiple award contract resulting from solicitation N32253-19-R-0003. Multiple Award Contract holders who are awarded a contract for these specific trades and hold a facility clearance code are eligible to submit proposals for these new requirements.
Advance notice is being given because the Government anticipates a shortened RFP period to meet the Government's immediate need. The proposal period may be as short as 4-7 days.
Because these requirements have a short suspense date, potential awardees should begin planning to provide a proposal now.
The first RFP will request the MAC Holders to propose a total of 7 Yellow Badge Journey Level Inside Machinists and 1 Yellow Badge Inside Machinist Supervisor to provide support services at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility. The RFP will also require Marine Chemist/Competent Person Support services or a request to use a PHNSY Competent Person Support services. The estimated period of performance is 06/03/19 - 12/20/19. Services are not required on 11/29/19.
The second RFP will request the MAC Holders to propose a total of 10 Yellow Badge Marine Machinery Mechanics and 2 Yellow badge Marine Machinery Mechanic Supervisors to provide support services at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility. The RFP will also require Marine Chemist/Competent Person Support services or a request to use a PHNSY Competent Person Support services. The estimated period of performance is 06/03/19 - 03/27/20. Services are not required on the following days: 11/29/19 and 12/23/19 through 01/03/20.


The third RFP will request the MAC Holders to propose a total of 10 Yellow Badge Marine Machinery Mechanics and 2 Yellow badge Marine Machinery Mechanic Supervisors to provide support services at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility. The RFP will also require Marine Chemist/Competent Person Support services or a request to use a PHNSY Competent Person Support services. The estimated period of performance is 06/03/19 - 09/30/19.
The fourth RFP will request the MAC Holders to propose a total of 8 Yellow Badge Laborers and 2 Yellow badge Laborer Supervisors to provide support services at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility. The RFP will also require Marine Chemist/Competent Person Support services or a request to use a PHNSY Competent Person Support services. The estimated period of performance is 06/03/19 - 09/30/19.


Funds are not currently available for these solicitations. Award of a task order as a result of these solicitations is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment of these task orders may be made. There shall be no legal liability on the part of the Government for contract purposes until funds are made available to the contracting officer. The contracting officer will confirm availability of funds in writing to the contractor upon award of a task order.
