The unit tests gas turbine aircraft engines. It includes a probe control unit assembly, a trimmer assembly, and an accessory case. The probe control unit assembly latches to the accessory case when the test set is moved. Two wheels, a support post and a push handle on the accessory case make it easy to move the test set. The portable trimmer assembly may be removed and used in the cockpit during the trim procedure. Cables, cable adapters, and heater probes are kept in the accessory case. The test set is used to maintain gas turbine aircraft engines while on the ground. When the applicable cables and accessories are used with the test set, it can do many functions. Weight is 95 lbs and measures 22.5" long, 21.0" wide and 23.5" high. Main materials are metal, plastic and glass.
