About this opportunity
This pre-solicitation notice seeks a tanker voyage charter to transport approximately 230,000 barrels of JP5 fuel from St. Theodore, Greece to Souda Bay, Crete and Augusta Bay, Italy. The Military Sealift Command of the Department of the Navy will evaluate proposals for a clean, double-hull tanker with inert gas system and segregated ballast tanks capable of meeting these transport requirements within the stated cargo tank capacities and isolation valves. - Description: One, clean, approved, U.S. or foreign flag, double-hull tanker, with an inert gas system and segregated ballast tanks that is capable of carrying a minimum of 230,000 bbls of clean product (intentions JP5) within vessel’s natural segregation in designated cargo tanks with double-valve isolation.
