About this opportunity

This notice seeks a tanker for a voyage charter to transport approximately 130,000 barrels of clean product from St. Theodore, Greece to Killingholme, United Kingdom. The Military Sealift Command of the Department of the Navy will evaluate proposals for a vessel that can load at the MOH Terminal in Greece between January 3-4, 2022 and complete the voyage to the UK within the stated laydays. Proposals are due by December 7, 2021.

The procurement is unrestricted with no set-aside designations. The primary NAICS code is 48-59, transportation and warehousing, and the PSC code is V, for transportation, travel and relocation services. As this work will occur entirely outside of the US and its territories, the decision to make it unrestricted was approved by the agency's Deputy Associate Director of Small Business. Details include one voyage on a double-hulled tanker with inert gas system and segregated ballast tanks capable of carrying a minimum of 130,000 barrels of clean product.
