Synopsis:

The Air Force intends to award a sole source contract to AAI Corporation dba Textron Systems Electronic Systems for the following effort: 


 


The effort is to provide updates to the T25 SECT to add an Electro-Optical / Infrared (EO/IR) Sensor simulation model to the AN/FSQ-T25 Simulator for Electronic Combat Training (SECT) located at Naval Air Station Pensacola (NASP). The EO/IR Sensor simulation model will be used for training Combat Systems Officers (CSO) in its fundamental usage and mission employment. This effort will require software and hardware updates, follow-on support, and training. The period of performance for this ECP will be 12 months and will include at least 2 software deliveries, up to 100 hours of follow-on phone support, and full day training sessions.


 


A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract is contemplated.

This solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP), for a firm fixed type contract.  The Oklahoma City-Air Logistics Center (OC-ALC/PZIMB) at Tinker Air Force Base Oklahoma intends to award a sole source contract to AAI Corporation dba Textron Systems Electronic Systems.


 


System for Award Management (SAM) is required to receive any award.  Contractors can register electronically at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ .   The NAICS code for this requirement is 336413 with a size standard of 1,250.


 


Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting a proposal.  Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation through FedBizOps at https://www.fbo.gov/.  No telephone requests. See Note 22.  Authority is 10 USC 2304 (c) (1).
