The Naval Undersea Warfare Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) and resulting contract for the fabrication, delivery, and installation of trainer systems hardware for all U.S. Navy, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Armament Control Programs (ACP) combat systems trainers at Fleet activities. This requirement is a follow-on to Seaport-e Task Order N00178-04-D-4018-N410 with BAE Systems Technology Solutions & Services, Inc. This requirement will be solicited competitively on an unrestricted basis under NAICS Code 334111; Size Standard: 1,000 employees. The resulting contract is anticipated to be an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract which will include Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) provisions. The resulting contract will be a 5 year contract. The anticipated Period of Performance will be from 1 APR 2016 to 31 MAR 2021. The primary Place of Performance is the Contractor's facility. Delivery and installation will occur at the following locations: Newport, RI; Groton, CT; Carderock, MD; Norfolk, VA; Manassas, VA; King's Bay, GA; Bangor, WA; San Diego, CA; Pearl Harbor, HI; Rockingham, West Australia; Yokosuka, Japan and Santa Rita, Guam.
The Request for Proposal (RFP) and related files listed under solicitation number N66604-15-R-2764 will be issued electronically. The RFP is expected to be issued no later than 12 FEB 2016.
