About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure 500 units of NSN 1H-5307-016698773-L1, which appears to be a specific type of stud. The procurement is classified as a Pre-solicitation Notice with a full technical data package available, indicating minimal technical or manufacturing restrictions. The government has confirmed complete rights to the technical data, suggesting potential for full and open competition. The contract opportunity is currently in the pre-solicitation phase, with responses due by June 16, 2025. While specific evaluation criteria are not explicitly detailed in the notice, the procurement appears to follow standard federal acquisition regulations and will require compliance with technical specifications.

The contract is 100% set aside for small businesses, with potential for further designation under specific small business categories such as HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned, or Historically Black College/Minority Institution programs. The procurement will involve delivery to the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine, with interested parties able to obtain necessary specifications through the DoD Single Stock Point. Contractors can access required documentation through ASSIST-Online or by contacting the DODSSP ASSIST Help Desk. While the exact contract value is not specified, the procurement involves 500 units of the specified stud, and interested small businesses will need to demonstrate capability to meet the Naval Supply Systems Command's precise technical requirements.
